Pegasus is one of the best known mythological creatures in Greek mythology. He is a winged divine horse, or usually depicted as white in colour. The symbolism of Pegasus varies with time. He was sired by Poseidon, in his role as horse-god] He was the brother of Chrysao. Symbol of wisdom and especially of fame from the Middle Ages until the Renaissance, he became one symbol of the poetry and the creator of sources in which the poets come to draw inspiration, particularly in the 19th century.

The pineal gland is a small endocrine gland in the vertebrate brain. It produces the serotonin derivative melatonin, a hormone that affects the modulation of wake/sleep patterns and seasonal functions. It is reddish-gray and about the size of a grain of rice in humans, and shaped like a pinecone, hence its name.
René Descartes, who dedicated much time to the study of the pineal gland, called it the “principal seat of the soul.” He believed that it was the point of connection between the intellect and the body. Descartes attached significance to the gland because he believed it to be the only section of the brain which existed as a single part, rather than one half of a pair. He argued that because a person can never have “more than one thought at a time,” external stimuli must be united within the brain before being considered by the soul, and he considered the pineal gland to be situated in “the most suitable possible place for this purpose,” located centrally in the brain and surrounded by branches of the carotid arteries.
Author Manly Palmer Hall, who founded the Philosophical Research Society, wrote a book years ago called the Pineal Gland: The Eye of the God(s) and described the earlier writings by adepts to its logical beginning of the endocrine system. This week on One Cell, One Light Radio, Dr. Hildy™ welcomes back to the first hour of the show artist Rick Dubov, as they discuss the Higgs boson and its role in the creation of the universe. Since the Higgs particle is theorized as creating the energy that creates mass on a molecular level, one could theorize that all of existence originated with this one particle. This theory, and Leon Lederman’s 1993 book, have lead many to refer to the Higgs boson as the “God particle”. Furthering their discussion on the Higgs, Dr. Hildy™ and Mr. Dubov will discuss the concept of our link to stars.

Born in Austria in 1856, Tesla was an important contributor to the use of commercial electricity, and is best known for his contributions to the modern alternating current (AC) electrical supply system. Tesla’s patents and theoretical work also formed the basis of wireless communication and the radio. However, Tesla’s most famous inventions are also his most theoretical, one such being a directed-energy weapon, a version of which is currently in development by Navy scientists.
